On today, the 75th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you to you and your fellow Officers who were also killed in that explosion for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of New York City. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Rest In Peace , hero . After 75 years you are not forgotten . Although we share the same last name , we are not related , only through our uniform .
I use to see your plaque in the hall of heros in 1pp and in a book down at SOD and quietly say a prayer .

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 64th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
