Patrolman John Neal was killed in a motorcycle crash at Columbia Parkway and Martin Street in Cincinnati.

At 6:50 a.m., Patrolman Neal was traveling south on Columbia Parkway when a car traveling south attempted to make a left onto Martin Street. His motorcycle struck the right side of the car.

Patrolman Neal was transported to General Hospital where he died from a skull fracture and crushed chest.

He had served with the Cincinnati Police Department for 6.5 years. He was survived by his wife of 12 days, son, parents, and two sisters. His son, two years old, died eight months later.
