I never knew my grandparents but when I started working on Ancestry, I "met" them in a sense. I didn't know my grandfather was a deputy or that he died while investigating a robbery. I have a new found sense of pride in him. His son was Johnny Eugene and I am his granddaughter, Sherri. By the way, I was born on his birthday.
