Special Agent Levi Trexler was killed in an automobile accident while pursuing a bootlegging suspect in Rockingham County, North Carolina.
He and another agent were patrolling the county roads when they began pursuing a car suspected of transporting liquor. As they rounded a curve their vehicle went out of control and overturned. Agent Trexler suffered fatal injuries in the accident.
