Felix, after 36 years, I still remember very clearly the night Rodney G. Adams drove into our patrol car, and remembering the remorse I felt because I survived and did not…and knowing that you had a family that depended on you.

I still clearly recall the moments immediately before and after the impact, and I suppose I always will.

You were a good man, and I know the Good Lord must have made room for you where good people go after they pass on.

Even now, as I write this, and after 36 years, I cannot help but become emotional as memories of that night return. I never forget to say a prayer for you on May 29th.

I went on work with IRS (various positions, including CID) and with the Criminal Division, Fraud Section of the US Department of Justice.
