I dread this anniversary death of Wayne Peters every year. My father was the Sheriff and he too was shot that same day. Wayne was my second father. I was very close to him and will never, ever forget that day. He was such a cheerful, happy go lucky individual who would do anything for anyone. A true her, a true gentleman.
