Officer Richard Teague was killed when his motorcycle was struck by a car at the intersection of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Clifton Road while escorting a funeral procession.
Officer Teague had served with the DeKalb County Police Department for five years. He was survived by his parents, brother, sister, and two nieces.
