George A. Miller

Patrolman Miller was struck and killed by an automobile while standing in the roadway near 93rd Street and West Drive. He was transported to Reconstruction Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Patrolman Miller had been with the agency for 24 years and was assigned to the 22nd Precinct. He was survived by his wife and four children.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 81rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, not even 81 years.
