Officer Seaberry was killed in an accident while responding to an officer needs assistance call. During the response his cruiser went out of control on a rain-slicked road and struck a tree.

Officer Seaberry had served with the Lake Charles Police Department for just under 1 years. He was survived by his wife and two sons.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 14th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
