Officer Maus was killed in a motorcycle accident while pursuing a speeding motorist. He had just returned to duty after serving three years with the Navy in WWII.
Though many years have passed since the truly unfortunate circumstance of death in the line of duty, many will remember and revere your sacrifice. Others have, and will, join you later and we will celebrate as only members of our chosen field can. May you rest in peace and know you were a member and part of the Best.
