If my history and memory are correct, Ed Masterson is the brother to the famous Bat Masterson who is the brother mentioned in this article. Ed and Bat both came to work in Dodge City when they were called upon by their other famous Wild West friend Wyatt Earp. Wyatt, Ed, and Bat worked together even before becoming members of law enforcement. Rest in Peace sir, it's been so many years but your legend lives on forever.
