Kevin Williams

Officer Williams was killed when his Emergency Patrol Wagon was broadsided as he and his partner were responding to an assist other officers. The Emergency Patrol Wagon tipped over and Officers Williams was ejected and pinned under the wagon. He died from his injuries.

Officer Williams had served with the agency for 3 years and was assigned to the 12th District. He is survived by his wife.

Oh man I was a young Officer assigned to the Traffic Division then. I did not know Officer Williams personally, but it still hurt to know that a fellow Officer died on duty. Coming to the aid of a fellow Officer is the highest priority, and he honestly gave his life to that end. We thank you for your service and commitment to the citizens of Philadelphia!
