Lieutenant Marquardt was struck and killed by a train while conducting a training exercise for other officers.
Every fallen Officer deserves to have a reflection listed. I am honored to be the first to pay my respects to this brave Officer and public servant.
On the anniversary of your tragic death, I offer my condolences. You may have served and died a long time ago, but you are not forgotten.
