Deputy Mayse died as a result of injuries he received in an on duty accident four days earlier. He is survived by wife and two daughters.
DADDY IM STILL YOUR LITTLE GIRL!I was so young when you were taken away,but now i'm a women and I have things to say. I miss you dearly every single day I never got over what happened that day you were a wonderful father, a wonderful man. I'm sorry that we never got to finish our plans. I know you died doing what you loved, and for that your my hero. Sometimes I wish you could take it back just for one more hug. I'm going through alot right now, cause I never delt with the pain. So now years later it feels the same. I thought it would help me to write something to remember all the great things about you. You were the coolest dad in the world, you were such a jokester! you could make me laugh no matter what. You were such a good friend I know that now because so many people miss you! We all wish you were here. We never got a chance to say goodbye. I miss you and I will always love you I'll always be your little girl! Thank you for being my Dad!
