Private Floyd Maderia was killed in an automobile accident on an icy road in Minooka, Pennsylvania, while returning from court after testifying in a murder case. He succumbed to his injuries the following day.

Private Maderia had been with the agency for almost five years and was survived by his father.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
