Deputy Littlejohn succumbed to injuries received two days earlier when his patrol car was struck by a drunk driver. He and his partner were rushing an attempted suicide patient to a hospital when the collision occurred. The suspect was convicted of felony drunk driving.
Deputy Littlejohn had been with the agency for almost three years.

ODMP is participating in the CrowdRise Giving Tower Holiday Challenge, an annual fundraising competition that runs from November 24th through January 7th and raises millions of dollars for charity.
