Officer Hugo Lisko succumbed to injuries sustained the previous day when his police motorcycle struck an automobile near Hustisford.
He was patrolling in the area of the Hustiford baseball stadium during the championship game when struck the back of a car near the park's entrance.
Officer Lisko had served with the Dodge County Motor Police for three years and had previously served with the Sheboygan Police Department. He was survived by his wife and three children.
