Patrolman Lee and Patrolman James Allen were killed in an automobile accident when their patrol car was struck by another vehicle. The initial collision pushed the patrol car into a utility pole.

Patrolman Lee had been with the agency for four years.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
