Officer Paul Kortepeter was killed when his patrol car was struck head-on by two fleeing armed robbery suspects.

Both men in the fleeing vehicle were convicted of robbery with a deadly weapon, reckless homicide, vehicle theft, and resisting and fleeing a police officer.

Officer Kortepeter had served with the Indianapolis Police Department for 13 years. He was survived by his 13-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter.

Your Son is a great man, I fell in love with him, but it was not to be, for he was already married with 2 kids, so I had to set him free. I think of you, when I think of your son, because I know he Loves & misses you, as much as I do him.
