Officer Koleski was shot and killed after being abducted while investigating illegal moonshining. His body was found in a creek blindfolded with five bullets in his head. The suspects were later apprehended and brought to trial.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
