Dear Sarah,
I delivered flowers to your Daddy's mom and dad the day after he was killed. They were living in Vacaville.
It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. They were so kind and comforted ME.
I hope you don't mind, but I share the memory of that morning with others, sometimes.
God bless you. I know it was his last night as a street cop and your family was getting ready to go on vacation the next morning.
Please know that I will never forget him.

Sincerely,
Shirley Hutton
