I worked with Fred. He was a good man. I remember him telling me "if you learn nothing else from me, I want you to remember the letters CYA!" Cover Your Ass no matter what the situation small or large. At this time I'm a supervisor and a Field Training Officer for the Camden County Sheriff's Office and I pass on this message on a daily basis. Fred will never be forgotten.
