Reserve Deputy Fred Feuser was shot and killed after confronting two teenagers breaking into a storage building in the village of Four Seasons.

Deputy Feuser was a U.S. military veteran. He is survived by his wife and four children.

I worked with Fred. He was a good man. I remember him telling me "if you learn nothing else from me, I want you to remember the letters CYA!" Cover Your Ass no matter what the situation small or large. At this time I'm a supervisor and a Field Training Officer for the Camden County Sheriff's Office and I pass on this message on a daily basis. Fred will never be forgotten.
