I recently found the clipping from The Times Herald Record dated August 12, 1980. Even though that was 36 years ago it brought back some emotions that have been repeated too many times since. I was just a few years older at the time and this was the 7th funeral I had attended for a fellow Trooper. I hope the family has recovered from such a terrible loss as much as possible.
