Suspect Info: Shot and killed Trooper William Kellems was shot and killed by the suspect who had shot and killed Michigan State Police Trooper Deguld Pellot earlier in the day.
After murdering Trooper Pellot, the suspect fled to Indiana where Trooper Kellams spotted the suspect's vehicle traveling through Scottsburg in Scott County and made a traffic stop. As Trooper Kellams approached the suspect's vehicle, two shots were fired, fatally wounding him. The suspect was finally shot and killed when he attempted to run a roadblock.
