2021 marks 27 years since you passed. I still laugh at the times we spent together before you moved to Florida. When I asked you why were you leaving Ascension Parish S/O after you finally convinced me to become a cop you told me that you wanted to go to Osceola County because they had an aviation division. I can still remember flying out of y'alls private airstrip with you like it was yesterday. I can also remember riding with you while you worked before you moved. I knew you moving would be a perfect fit for you. We were losing an awesome guy and Florida was gaining one. Florida had no fricking clue what was coming. True South Louisiana comes to town!!!

For those of you who knew Troy will agree with me. If you were having a bad day and Troy showed up, walked in the room or whatever it was only a matter of minutes and you would be laughing. My funniest memories were you imitating different people, actors etc. It never failed when you would show up turning over my giggle box was fixing to happen.

Troy, I can still remember hearing about your accident and I cried and cried and cried. BUT....I knew you passed doing the ultimate for you in life. One, being a cop and two, you were flying. That was the only thing that could bring me a little comfort. You moved shortly after I was hired at the Sheriff's Office and I am now retired after a little over 32 years of service. Now is the time in our lives that we are suppose to enjoy. Enjoy flying over us in heaven and keeping us safe at home.

I miss you bunches dude!!!!
