Calvin Rutledge Jones

Trooper Calvin Jones was killed in an automobile accident on M-52 in Lenawee County during a pursuit.

As he attempted to pass a truck, the truck driver made a left turn which caused a collision and the trooper lost control of his vehicle.

Trooper Jones had previously served in World War II and is survived by his wife and two children.

On today, the 59th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as an LEO-but for our Country as well when you served during WW II. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
