Trooper Randy Ingram was killed when his patrol car was struck by a tractor trailer during a traffic stop.

Trooper Ingram was a veteran of the Utah National Guard and had served with the Utah Highway Patrol for 10 years. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and son.

Thanks to your sacrifice the man driving the van has lived to become the bishop of my ward. He told us the story today of how he remembers the whole incident. It had all the youth in our ward almost in tears. Thank you for saving my Bishop, his kids, and the rest of the scouts in that van. I hope to thank you personally one day.
