Undersheriff Jacka was electrocuted while searching for two men. He located the bodies of the two men and found they had been electrocuted by a downed power line. As he approached the two in the darkness he also came into contact with the power line and was killed.

On Tuesday Nov. 28th , 1950 I saw my father cry for the first time. A young boy at the age of 6, will never forget this moment. Wayne loved his elder brother, so very much. It was a very sad day for our family.
