Patrolman Frank Humr was killed when his police motorcycle struck another vehicle as he attempted to make a traffic stop.

He was pursuing a speeding motorist on Puritas when a vehicle traveling south on Valleyside turned left in front of him. The driver of the vehicle was charged with vehicular homicide.

Patrolman Humr had served with the Cleveland Division of Police for 6 years. He was survived by his wife and three children
