The ceremony was poignant and celebratory of a short life, lived with honor and valor. He left a young son and wife doing what he loved - serving his fellow man. The Commissioner told a personal recollection which made us laugh and gave life to the moment. Seeing so many state troopers gather to honor their fallen brother, their cars lined up one behind the other, the American flag brought to colors and pledge of allegiance "under God" reminded us that FREEDOM IS NOT FREE and how far we have come since our brother Hight died in 1962 in loss of our moral compass. May God Bless America and may He help us to re-gain our way back to Him. Thank you for your service, past, present and future.
