Deputy Harvey succumbed to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Highway 60 near Springfield, Arizona, while en route to Las Vegas, Nevada, to pick up a prisoner. Deputy Harvey was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries three days later.
