Sergeant William Hall was killed in a motorcycle accident while on duty in Wood County.
Sergeant Hall was survived by his wife.
This is my Great Uncle Bill, he and my Grandfather Crit Hall were the first West Virginia State troopers to get motorcycles. I have heard many stories over the years about them having to put at least a hundred miles a day on their motorcycles during the trial period. I am happy to have found this memorial page, and on behalf of the Hall family I thank those who have chosen to honor Uncle Bill.
