Major Horace Hall was killed in a head on collision with a 16-year-old girl who died of an overdose at the wheel. She hit him head on at 90 mph as he was returning from a call with a state trooper. The trooper saw her and before he could radio back to Major Hall he had been hit.
Major Hall was survived by his wife and four children.
