Every Minneapolis Police Academy Class selects a fallen Officer to honor. Recruit class 2013-1 selected Officer Harold Hagen. A flag with his badge number was attached to the class guide-on and carried by the Recruits throughout the Academy. The Recruit class also carried the flag, on a formation run to Officer Hagens grave site to pay their respects. The flag is now frqamed with their class photo and prodly hangs in the Minneapolis Police Academy.
