Officer Wilfred Golla was shot and killed while pursuing a robbery suspect. The suspect opened fired on Officer Golla at St. Aubin and Antietam Streets and struck the officer in the head.
Officer Golla had served with the agency for 2 years and was assigned to the 3rd Precinct. He was survived by his wife, Marie.
