While responding to a report that a child had been bitten by a dog, Trooper Garrison swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle in front of him and struck a tow truck. The car, occupied by numerous teenagers, had stopped to make a left-hand turn.

Trooper Garrison,
On today, the 60th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a LEO but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
