This man was my great grandfather. His son, John Robert Galloway was my Grandfather. John Robert Galloway was only 13 when his father was killed. He quit school and went to work to help his mother and 7 siblings. John passed at age 80 in 1991. I never knew the actual circumstances surrounding his death until I found this site quite recently. His children, Grandchildren and Great grand children have done well. Rest in Peace.

Great Grandson
