Thomas F. Gallagher

Policeman Gallagher was shot and killed by one of three men he trapped inside a private garage at 24th and McKean streets. The men attacked him, struck him in the head with a blackjack, and then shot him twice as he lay on the ground.

Policeman Gallagher had served with the Philadelphia Police Department for six years. He was survived by his wife and two children.
