Patrolman Robert Forrest suffered a fatal heart attack while involved in a foot pursuit.

Patrolman Forrest was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was assigned to the 24th Precinct. He was survived by his wife, mother, and brother.

On today, the 57th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
