John Flynn

Patrolman Flynn was shot and killed while checking businesses on Grant Avenue. While walking his beat in the business district he located an open door and entered the business to investigate. He was mistaken for a burglar by the proprietor and was shot and killed.


Patrolman Flynn had served with the Duquesne Police Department for six years and was survived by his wife and two children
