Patrolman Fitzpatrick, today marks the 79th anniversary of your passing. A one armed legless man took you from your friends, co-workers and family and got a mere 60 days. You got life. I see no justice in this but have come to understand that justice and reality do not have to exist hand in hand. As a Park Police Officer, you faced the same trials and tribulations as any other cop and you proved that the hard way. You have not been forgotten and you are a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
