Officer Erdley died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Saw Mill River Parkway at Palmer Road.
Dear Grandpa: Never had the chance to meet you.Nor did your daughter.I did have a moment with great grandpa. He never spoke English only Hungarian. I was always afraid of him because he didn't speak English.After many visits I finally gave him a kiss goodbye. I was about 4yrs. He sooned died when I was about 5.My Grandma spoke highly of you to your daughter Jean. I know you are in a pleasant place. I know your in heaven. I pray for you and my mom, and great grandpa. I wish I could have met you. xxx,ooo,xxx
