I too came on the LAPD in 1969, just a few months before Mike, and only knew Mike in passing; I met him when I worked "Motors" in 77th Division. I remember learning of his murder and remember being shocked at the circumstances. Well Mike, I live in Cypress (CA) and have visited your grave (at Forest Lawn Cypress) a number of times, and as recently as 8/19/14. Trust me, you will never be forgotten. And, as others have said, we all hope that someday, no matter how long it takes, that the suspect or suspects will be found and prosecuted.
