Deputy Marshal Dorsey was shot and killed by an apartment house owner who mistook him and two police inspectors for robbers as the officers attempted to make an arrest in Oakland, California.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
