Officer Charles Donohue was shot and killed with his service revolver after being disarmed while effecting an arrest.

The suspect was later convicted of murder and was executed on September 19, 1902.

Officer Donohue had served with the Baltimore City Police Department for nine months. He was survived by his wife.
