Deputy Frank Dombrowski died on February 6, 1970 from injuries he sustained on January 1, 1969 when his police vehicle was struck by another vehicle. Deputy Dombrowski was in pursuit of a violator at the time of the accident.

Deputy Dombrowski was survived by his wife and two young children.

ODMP is participating in the CrowdRise Giving Tower Holiday Challenge, an annual fundraising competition that runs from November 24th through January 7th and raises millions of dollars for charity.
