Officer John Daroux was killed in a motorcycle accident while on patrol in Sacramento. A vehicle was following his motorcycle closely and struck him as he applied his brakes.

Officer Daroux was a WWI veteran.

On today, the 82nd anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a LEO but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army Air Service in Europe fighting the Germans during WW I.
