I became friends with Bill because our sons were on the same hockey team in Quincy, Ma. Bill and I clicked because I was a Boston Police Officer and a former Marine. As Bill said to me one day standing in a cold hockey rink "I guess we have crossed my of the same bridges". Went Bill was killed I did what I know he would have done for me an take his son Brian to every hockey practice. It was my honor to do so. Bill's parents and his wife Karen along with his other son Billy were at every game. Many years have passed now and I moved to Florida and have lost touch. I do know that his son Billy became a US marshal and I'm sure Bill would be very proud. Semper Fi my friend until we meet again.........
