Patrolman Louis Cullotta was killed while working a uniformed security detail. An assailant walked into the establishment, drew a revolver, and shot Officer Cullotta
Later investigation revealed that the gunman was seeking revenge against Officer Cullotta over an interrogation that had occurred 3 years earlier.
The suspect was found not guilty by reason of insanity and committed to a state mental facility.
Patrolman Cullotta had served with the agency for 9 years. He was survived by his wife and two children.
