Will Cross

Deputy Marshal Cross was shot and killed in Little Rock, Arkansas, in return gunfire by Sergeant John Cabiness's partner after he shot at the officers. Deputy Marshal Cross mistook the officers for railroad strikers who were out to get him. Sergeant Cabiness also died of his wounds.
